Project terms: Before work begins, confirm the scope, final price, timeline, deliverables and any special requirements in writing. If a project-specific agreement conflicts with these general terms, the project-specific agreement controls for that project.
Enquiries and project scope
Information on this website describes services and indicative pricing; it is not a binding offer for a particular project. We confirm the final scope, pages, features, price, schedule and any add-ons with you in writing before work starts. Features such as bookings, payments, accounts, databases or integrations may need a separate quote.
Starting work and payment
For standard website projects, work begins after the agreed advance payment (currently described on our website as 30%) and after we receive the required content and project information. The remaining balance is due when the website is ready for launch, as stated in your project confirmation. Any different payment schedule must be agreed in writing. Third-party domain, hosting, subscription or renewal fees are separate unless your quote expressly includes them.
Content and client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate content and for having the rights and permissions needed to use your text, photographs, logos, testimonials and other materials. Please review the website, links, contact details, prices and claims before approving launch. You must not ask us to publish unlawful, misleading or infringing material. We may request reasonable information to verify the business and the person authorising the project; our handling of that information is described in the Privacy Policy.
Timeline, review and changes
Any timeline is an estimate based on the agreed scope and timely receipt of content, approvals and payments. The website describes a typical static-site timeline of about seven working days after the required content is received. Delays in feedback, content, approvals, third-party services or scope changes may affect delivery. Included review and changes are those set out in your quote. Additional work or changes to agreed requirements may require a revised quote and schedule.
The website currently describes a remedy if a static website exceeds ten working days: a 50% rebate on a future build or equivalent future services. The project-specific written agreement should confirm how that remedy applies to your project.
Launch, handover and maintenance
After the agreed balance is paid, we hand over the deliverables and transfer domain ownership as stated in your project confirmation; the website describes handover within four to five working days after final payment. Third-party assets, software, fonts, hosting and other services remain subject to their own licences and terms. Ongoing edits, maintenance, new pages and support are not included unless your quote or a separate maintenance plan says otherwise.
Cancellation and refunds
If you need to cancel or pause a project, contact us promptly in writing. The project-specific agreement will set out any cancellation charges, refund or rescheduling terms, taking into account work already completed, committed costs and applicable law. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Third-party services and availability
Websites may rely on domain registrars, hosting companies, messaging platforms, map providers and other services outside our control. Their availability, pricing, policies and data handling are governed by their own terms. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or specific search-engine rankings, but agreed support and maintenance services will be provided as described in your project agreement.
Website use and intellectual property
You may use this website for lawful purposes and may not interfere with its operation or copy its content for commercial use without permission. Once all project fees are paid, ownership and handover of the custom deliverables will follow the project agreement. Third-party materials and pre-existing tools are not transferred beyond the rights their licences allow.
Liability and governing law
To the extent permitted by law, Ahnika.Studio is not responsible for indirect losses or failures caused by third-party services, client-supplied content or changes made by others after handover. These terms do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited. These terms are governed by the laws of India; disputes are subject to the courts with jurisdiction in Bengaluru, Karnataka, subject to applicable law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version here. Changes do not alter a project-specific agreement already accepted unless you agree otherwise. For questions about these terms or a project, call +91 91805 21540 or message us on WhatsApp.
