In short: Our website directs enquiries to WhatsApp; project discussions and documents may be shared with us separately through WhatsApp or in person. We use information to respond, verify a project contact when needed, and deliver the agreed website service.
Who is responsible
Ahnika.Studio, based in Bengaluru, India, is responsible for personal information we collect for our own enquiries, customer onboarding and service delivery. For privacy questions or requests, contact us on +91 91805 21540 or message us on WhatsApp.
Information we handle
- Enquiries: your name, phone number, business details, the service or plan you ask about, and the message you send.
- Project information: contact details, business content, photos, logos, social links and other material you provide so we can build or update your website.
- Onboarding and verification documents: we may ask for a business registration, certificate or licence and documents relating to the proprietor, director or partner, including PAN or Aadhaar copies. These are shared during onboarding, not collected through a form on this website.
- Payment and service records: payment confirmations, invoices, project communications and records needed to manage the service.
- Basic technical information: when you visit the site, the hosting provider may record ordinary connection and server-log information. This site currently loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google to retrieve those fonts.
Why we use it
We use information to reply to enquiries, prepare quotes, verify the business and the person authorising a project, reduce fraud, provide and support website services, maintain business and payment records, protect our rights, and meet legal obligations. We do not use onboarding documents for advertising.
How information is shared
We share only what is needed with service providers involved in communications, website hosting, domain management or payment processing. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and has its own privacy terms; Google provides the fonts used on this website. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect people, our customers or our business. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as needed to respond to you, complete the project, provide agreed support, maintain required business records or resolve a dispute. We then delete it or securely dispose of it, unless a law requires longer retention. Copies held in service-provider backups may take longer to cycle out.
Your choices and requests
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion where applicable, or withdraw consent for a use that relies on consent. Some records may need to be retained to complete a service, meet legal obligations or establish or defend a claim. Contact us using the details above and identify the project or conversation so we can locate the relevant information. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law.
Keeping information safe
We take reasonable steps to restrict access to project and verification documents. Please send only the documents requested and use the agreed onboarding channel. If you are unsure whether a full Aadhaar or PAN copy is necessary, ask us before sending it; where legally and operationally acceptable, a masked copy or another verification method may be preferable. No online or messaging service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Client websites
When we build or maintain a website for a client, the client decides what information that website collects and why. The client is responsible for providing an appropriate notice to its visitors and choosing suitable consent and collection practices. If Ahnika handles visitor information on the client's behalf, our responsibilities will be set out in the project agreement and we will handle it only as agreed and as required by law.
Children and changes
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children. Please do not send us a child's personal information unless it is necessary for an agreed project and you are authorised to do so. We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
